At the age of two my son was evaluated for a speech delay and diagnosed with Autism Classic™. A few years later, after much research and self-doubt, I self-diagnosed with Autism Lite™ (Asperger’s). My little clan contains everything from ADHD and autism to disruptive mood dysregulation disorder, anxiety, and depression. Except for the little one. No diagnosis for her thus far, but she does enjoy decorating the carpet with toothpaste and running around naked 24/7, so she fits right in. I live in California with my husband, three children, and 75 birds. That was not an exaggeration- aviculture is my special interest. I enjoy computer games, correcting people on the internet, putting on noise cancelling headphones to better ignore my children, and reading.
