Oh friends what a month it has been! If you haven’t noticed, things have been a little quiet around here lately! Lots of things have been going on, but things seem to be settling back into a normal routine (HA! What is normal?) so I figured I’d use this post to give you some updates on what’s been happening with This Outnumbered Mama!
Summer Updates!
We’re Getting Outnumbered-er!
That’s right folks, this outnumbered mama is about to be even outnumbered-er (a word that I just made up because I like it). We’ll be adding another little one to our family around the holidays and we couldn’t be more excited! This will bring our total family to 6! I’ll definitely be sharing some info on pregnancy and babies here on the blog, and giving updates regularly. This is the bulk of why things have been quiet. Morning sickness (which really should be called all day sickness) has been rough this go around! Thanks for your patience. :)
We Got Married!
Chris and I *finally* officially got married this weekend! We had a small sunrise ceremony with family and close friends and then had a big barbecue with tons of family and friends! It was so much fun, the boys were incredible the whole time, and we really just had a blast. The wedding craziness accounts for the rest of why the blog’s been quiet. My best friend did pretty much all of the work, but I still was a crazy stress ball!
We Got a Diagnosis
Most of you know that our middle son, A-Man has a few different special needs. Specifically, he has dyspraxia, sensory processing disorder, a speech and language delay, and autism. Unfortunately, getting an official autism diagnosis can be really tricky. We had to go on a waiting list for a neurodevelopmental pediatrician which took nearly a year. We finally saw her last month and within one appointment we had an official diagnosis for him. I’ll be sharing more about that process and my thoughts on getting the diagnosis, but for now, it’s been a huge blessing but a huge distraction from blogging.
So that’s what we’ve been up to. I so appreciate the patience with me as the blog has been quiet! I pinky swear that posts will become much more regular through the Summer! Now it’s your turn! What have you been up to?
