If you’ve been a reader for long, you’ll know that I cannot stand math. I get answers, but I can never explain how I got them, and it’s near impossible for me to show my work. That’s why homeschooling math, and especially higher level math like Pre-Algebra is seriously terrifying to me.
How can I explain something when I don’t understand it myself?!
Now, my kids aren’t big enough for higher level math like this yet, but they will be before I know it, and I want to be prepared early!

Why Outsource Homeschooling Pre-Algebra
Even if you don’t hate math as much as I do, I feel like outsourcing homeschooling higher level math is worth majorly considering. Listen, I truly believe that mama’s are perfectly qualified to teach their own kids, but higher level math is a whole ‘nother ball game!

They are filled with abstract concepts that are difficult to explain even when you’re specially trained. For a homeschool mom, it will only lead to fighting and tears (from both of you!)
When my boys are old enough, I plan to definitely outsource higher level math.

Trust me, mama, I know that outsourcing homeschooling math doesn’t always seem possible. Who can afford a private tutor, not to mention the time driving kids to and from, and keeping younger kids busy during the sessions.
